Hazel Adlam
I am a professional artist based in the Rodings and have been painting and crafting for as long as I can remember. In 2014, I turned my passion for art into my small business, to share my love of original artwork and hand-painted gifts.
You’ll often find me at local art and craft fairs, exhibitions or community events, and have held several solo exhibitions over the years. I am a member of Bishop’s Stortford Art Society and Treasurer of Leaden Roding Art Club.
Much of my work is commission-based, which I find especially rewarding. I love to work with clients turnig their ideas into lasting keepsakes – from pet and people portraits to favourite landscapes, buildings, vehicles and aircraft. I work in pastel, watercolour, oils and acrylics.
Sustainability is important to me, and for craft work I focus on recycling and reusing materials wherever possible. I enjoy painting on unusual surfaces from plywood and slate, to old pallets and sheet metal helping to reduce waste through creative reuse.
