I’m an expressive abstract painter living in Bishop’s Stortford, with a deep love for the wild and wonderful outdoors.
For me, painting is like stepping into nature – it’s my happy place, my escape, my way of bottling up that peaceful, joyful feeling and putting it onto paper or a canvas. The colours, tranquillity and pure joy of nature are what inspire my paintings, bringing a little of that outdoor magic into my home – and perhaps yours too.
I’m at my happiest when I’m outside – walking along a canal, wandering through the woods, or just sitting by a campfire. I don’t set out to paint specific flowers, trees or landscapes, or represent anything realistically, but rather try to capture the feeling they give me – the calm, the freedom, the little spark of happiness I get from nature that somehow finds its way onto the canvas.
