Tony Allcock
He progressed an Artist career alongside a full time job in computer science. Exhibitions included most galleries around his native Nottingham plus others such as Centre Internationale d’Art Contemporain, Paris and Casa Campolietti, Venice. But by the time he moved to Stortford 23 years ago he had put that aside and only had time for digital art . e.g. creating a number of science fiction and fantasy book covers. He has also drawn comic strips for 2000AD and was the winner of the new Artist prize at the 2018 Leeds Thought Bubble. In the past 18months he has returned to fine art painting ; Typically Landscapes, Cityscapes and expressionistic figures. He paints mainly in watercolour but also in oils and acrylics.
